Last Thursday I had the opportunity to attend the Grand Opening of luxury Italian leather goods retailer, Tod’s, in the Buckhead district of Atlanta, GA.
Of course the event was super luxe and swanky! There were beautiful people, gelato, prosceco and bouquets of flowers. The private event was hosted by Michelle Crosland, Joanne Chesler Gross and Coy Wire. Fabulous!
Check it out!
The absolute best part of the evening was the live handcrafting of the iconic Tod’s Gommino by a leather artisan flown in from Italy. I mean have you ever? He made custom Tod’s shoes with monogramming for guest to purchase. And Divas there was a line.
10% of the evening’s sales will be donated to Meals on Wheels and a Meal to Remember 2015. Love luxe events that benefit luxe causes!
The Buckhead Atlanta location is Tod’s 9th nationwide boutique. The store reflects the utmost in quintessential Italian elegance. The décor, which is sophisticated, creates an environment of contemporary character which still maintains the solid elements of classic traditional Italian design. This serves as a great reminder of the constant evolution of the company which is continually linked to research and technological progress without ever losing sight of the values of tradition and craftsmanship.
Tod’s Boutique in Buckhead Atlanta is located at 3035 Peachtree Road NE, space A170, Atlanta, Georgia 30305. Visit www.tods.com for more information.
Be sure to check out the store. It is gorgeous!
In this life, you can have whatever you want. You just have to have the courage to go out there and take it!
I am so excited to share my new favorite luxe wellness spa: Tired Soles.
Tired Soles is a foot and body speciality wellness spa and they specialize in foot massage, body massage and aromatherapy.
When you enter Tired Soles, you are immediately greeted with soothing music and nature sounds. If you are having a stressful day, it immediately puts you in a relaxed mood. Also the spa smells simply amazing. Tired Soles uses an unique blend of aromatherapy to relax your senses as you prepare for your massage.
The foot massage at Tired Soles is not just a foot massage, it is an experience. Before the actual foot massage begins, the therapists “prepares” your feet with a soak and scrub.
First my feet were soaked in a warm Tibetan herbs bath. The Tibetan herbs serve as an effective detox to rid your body of toxins.
Next, the therapist used a scrub to throughly wash my feet and legs before the massage. Divas have you ever had your feet and legs washed??? Divine!
Now we get to the good part: the massage. Celeste was my massage therapist and she is AMAZING.
Celeste asked me what type of oils I wanted for the actual massage and for aromatherapy. I chose coconut oil for my massage and lavender for my aromatherapy.
Celeste massaged my legs and feet so good I felt like I drifted off into Heaven. She focused on tension areas and really worked hard to get out all the kinks. She noticed my right leg had more knots and tension and she asked me if I favored that leg. I told Celeste she was right. I did favor that leg and actually walked harder on the right side of my body.
The foot and leg massage was the best I have ever had. However, it gets better. For the remaining 15 minutes of my 1 hour foot massage, I received the BEST hot stone massage ever!
Tired Soles uses hot stone as a pleasant ending to your foot and leg massage experience. Celeste massaged my tired legs and feet into “butta” with the hot stones. Love, love, love.
Of course after this amazing massage, done with such love and care, you see I simply went to sleep.
Tired Soles offers the following services:
1/2 Hour Foot Massage $25.
1 Hour Foot Massage $35.
Full Body Massage 1/2 Hour $45.
Full Body Massage 1 Hour $70.
Be sure to check them out and if you pre-schedule your appointment via their website, you will receive %10 off your service.

Maturity is when you discover what you need is so much better than what you want!
I previously wrote about Thursday nights specials at Red Martini Lounge in the Buckhead District of Atlanta, GA. On Thursday nights, the lounge has $6 sushi and martini specials from 8-11pm.
Last Thursday night, on my birthday I might add, I had the wonderful opportunity to sample the sushi and cocktail menu courtesy of Red Martini Lounge. The sushi and cocktails were delish and the atmosphere is very upscale and sexy. Definitely a great date night hang out!I sampled several different types of sushi.
Me headed to Red Martini Lounge
I had the Red Martini roll made with Ahi Tuna, Red Snapper, Crab and Halibut. Yum!
The lobster roll was simply delish. I love lobster and this roll was very tasty.
The Ceviche roll was my favorite. It was so flavorful and was the perfect roll to end my meal.
Red Martini is a martini lounge and the cocktails were amazing!
My friend had an Old Fashion Martini.
Because it was my birthday, I had a champagne cocktail, a Bellini. Yum! And I had glasses of champagne.
And I also had this yummy banana pudding dessert!
The decor is super sexy and grown up. The lounge has a red and black design scheme and their is candle lightening to set a uber chic mood. There is also great music. The DJs play a variety of house, techno, hip-hip and pop tunes.
Thursday nights at Red Martini Lounge are Luxetips approved. And you simply can’t beat $6 dollar sushi and martinis. Fabulous!
Be thankful and watch blessings flow.

As you Divas know, Luxetips is a huge fan of STK Atlanta. STK Atlanta recently celebrated three years of success in Midtown Atlanta, with an unforgettable evening, “Bright Lights in the Big City.” Known for its high-energy atmosphere and exceptional signature and seasonal offerings, STK took luxe to the next level for its anniversary bash. Guests walked a branded STK red carpet and were greeted with street performers on the bustling corner of Peachtree and 12th Streets before entering the restaurant through a striking 12-foot arch featuring a hanging crystal chandelier and STK boldly spelled out in fresh red roses.
Guests entered a transformed environment dripping with glamour, which included beautiful crystal chandeliers peppered throughout the space. Local favorite DJ EU set the soundtrack for the evening while guests enjoyed interactive performances with drag queens and street performers as they mixed and mingled in the lounge, sipped on signature cocktails and enjoyed Executive Chef Mark Alba’s new spring offerings, alongside STK mainstays. Additionally, as a special thank you to all of their supporters over the past three years, the STK team treated diners to a complimentary bottle of Veuve Clicquot along with a delicious trio of desserts. With champagne in hand, guests ended the evening by collectively toasting to years of future success and departed with branded STK phone chargers and candles.
The night was truly fabulous! STK Atlanta always has the absolute best celebrations. So luxe!

Ford Motor Company has a long standing tradition of giving back to the community and supporting various causes such as protecting our environment and endangered species.
For the past 30 years, Ford Motor Company and Zoo Atlanta have had a partnership that has helped more than 17 million visitors learn about the value of wildlife and their natural habitats, all while aiding conservation and research efforts that have contributed to the Zoo’s reputation as an international leader in the care and study of great apes.
This past Saturday, Ford Motor Company and Zoo Atlanta celebrated their partnership with the Beastly Feast. This event brought out all the movers and shakers in Atlanta.
Here are some cool tidbits about Ford’s 30 year partnership with Zoo Atlanta!
- Ford Motor Company and the Ford Motor Company Fund have contributed $12 million to Zoo Atlanta during the past 30 years, which has been a catalyst for the Zoo’s transformation into an Atlanta treasure and leader in the zoological community.
- Ford Motor Company and the Ford Motor Company Fund’s contributions led to the opening of The Ford African Rain Forest, which houses the largest collection of gorillas in North America. Twenty-one gorillas have been born in The Ford African Rain Forest, including a rare set of twins in 2005.
- Additionally, the company’s contribution of $3 million in 2001 opened The Living Treehouse, an expansion of The Ford African Rain Forest and home to an aviary of African birds, as well as lemurs and a variety of monkey species.
- Ford Motor Company’s long-term philanthropy is further evidenced throughout the Zoo in such areas as the Ford Conference Room, the Ford Pavilion and the ZooMobile, a community outreach program bringing education animal ambassadors to school children within a 65-mile radius of the Zoo using Ford vehicles. The Fund has also supported the sponsored admissions program that allows underserved children complimentary admission to the Zoo.
Clearly this partnership has greatly benefited the Atlanta community. Awesome!
