Green with Envy

Hello Divas!

I hope you are enjoying life! Luxetips has teamed up with Champagne Taste, an Accessory and Handbag Boutique, to give a way an uber cool “Green” handbag. Since going “Green” or organic is the new craze and most importantly vital for our planet and health, I thought it would be cool to have a contest to support the Green initiative. These “Green” handbags are made of Jute fabric which is one of the strongest natural fibers in the world. But most importantly it is biodegradable. So Earth friendly! And as an added bonus these cool handbags have a “Green” message displayed on the bag: Stop Pollution! Save the Environment! Love Nature! And of course they are too cute!

To enter this contest simply subscribe to Luxetips via email in the left hand column and then leave a comment beneath this post and tell me what are you doing to go “Green”. This contest starts Friday, June 13th and ends on June 27th at 12 midnight. A winner will be chosen at random. Visit Champagne Taste, here or if you live in Atlanta in the East Atlanta Village at 496A Flat Shoals Avenue.

  1. Hi there! This is my first visit to your site…loves it!

One way I do my part to help preserve our beautiful planet is by taking my own reusable tote when grocery shopping. My dilemma? There are NO fashionable totes out there – that I’ve found anyway. However, I would love to stroll into Whole Foods with this one! Go green!! : )

  2. fabulous column!

recycle, recycle, recycle is the johnson’s way to going green. collecting our plastics, aluminum cans and glass no only saves the planet but helps our church financially with our monthly recycle program. go green!

  3. Great column and tips! I use resuable water bottles and do the little things like turning off lights when I leave the room and running only a full dishwasher. Going green isn’t second nature to me yet but I’m trying to set a good example for my family.

  4. I’m definitely working toward being more green. Maybe I’m aquamarine right now 🙂 One thing I’ve started doing, though, to reduce the amount of carbon emissions from my vehicle is work from home one day a week. I’ve also been trying to use less water by making sure I turn it off while showering and brushing my teeth. I look forward to learning more about all of this!
