Luxe Nest: Faux Bois Rugs
Chamele is back. Yeah.
If you have been keeping up with the Style Chameleon on Luxe Nest, you know that I was doing some heavy duty nesting earlier this spring. Nevertheless, there are still several projects pending at “Urban Retreat.” “Urban Retreat” is so named because each of the three floors is a haven of sorts amidst the urban sprawl. The master bedroom is a work in progress, but trust, it will soon be a cozy sanctuary as fantastic as the munchkin’s room, a sophisticated safari; or the great room, a Bohemian luxe retreat; or the guest bedroom, a nautical nest. The theme for the master bedroom is “enchanted forest,” inspired by an eclectic painting of what looks like a tree of both budding magnolias in spring and maple leaves in fall with various shades of blue-grays. I purchased the painting at TJMaxx three or four years ago and have yet to hang it. Recently, I discovered the perfect faux bois rug to match my Anthropologie Nimbus Jersey duvet and compliment the painting. The textured faux bois rug would be the piece de resistance for my bedroom. Unfortunately, the 8×10 version of the Zincdoor outdoor rug that first caught my eye in House Beautiful, is a bit out of my price range so I am resolved to purchase several 2×3 versions to create a runner in the master bathroom. You can find the Resort Oakwood Neutral Rug at Zincdoor for $77.00.
