Luxetips Automobiles! Lincoln Honors Black Women In Music at The Grammys
Always trust your instincts. They never lie.
The luxurious Lincoln MKX is the official vehicle for “Black Women In Music”, an event co-hosted by Lincoln and Essence to honor African-American female artists in the music industry.
This year coinciding with the 54th Grammy Awards, “Black Women In Music” will honor Kelly Rowland and music industry legend and executive Slyvia Rhone.
Rowland is nominated for a Grammy this year for her song “Motivation.” The singer began her career in the 90s with the iconic all-female group Destiny’s Child. The group has sold more than 60 million albums worldwide. Rowland is also one of the judges on the British reality television competition The X Factor.
Rhone’s career in the music industry spans more than three decades. Most recently, she served as the president of Universal Motown records. Her roster of artists includes multi-platinum artists Stevie Wonder, Missy Elliot and Nelly.
The Lincoln MKX is a gorgeous crossover vehicle. It features:
20 inch chrome clad wheels,
Panoramic Vista Roof
Heated Steering Wheels (my new obsession) and heated seats
Naviagation Systems with Sirius Travel Link
Butter Leather seats and Wood Grain
SYNC® with MyLincoln Touch™ (voice recognition technology combined with intuitive touch-screen controls and customizable cluster screens)
The Lincoln MKX has 5 seats but is very roomy and has incredible leg room. It is definitely a luxe mommy vehicle.
“Lincoln is excited to be the luxury vehicle sponsor of the ESSENCE Black Women in Music event for the third year,” says Shawn Lollie, Lincoln manager of Multicultural Marketing. “We are thrilled to continue our relationship with the magazine in honoring these talented women, and participate in events like these that speak to the contemporary Lincoln consumer.”
The 54th Annual Grammy Awards will air Feb. 12 on CBS.
