Luxetips Automobiles! My Review Of The 2015 Toyota Avalon XLE

Hello Divas!

Always be kind to others.  A kind word or smile may be what someone needs to get through the day.

Last week I had the opportunity to test drive the new 2015 Toyota Avalon XLE Touring sedan.  I must say that my experience was amazing.  I really did not want to give the car back! 🙂

First I have to rave about the luxurious comfort of the vehicle.  I know Toyota is not usually synonymous with luxury, but the Toyota Avalon is at the top range of Toyota vehicles and it has all the luxury elements.

Premium Leather Seats With French Stitching.

The leather used in the Toyota Avalone XLE is pure butta.  Every time I got inside the vehicle I just let myself sink into the leather seat.  And because I am a fashionista, I especially appreciated the dark blue stitching that was a perfect compliment to the all black interior.  The vehicle also had dark blue wood grain accents throughout.  Fabulous!

FullSizeRenderThe car has ample space.  Five large adults can easily fit in this vehicle with enough leg room for every passenger.  The luxe kids had so much space in the back.  Luxe son’s long legs could stretch out and they had enough space between them so they didn’t have to touch each other. Because if they touch, a fight immediately follows.  LOL!

Technology

The Toyota Avalon XLE’s technology package was user friendly and worked like a charm.  The vehicle contains Toyota’s trademark Entune™ Premium Audio with Navigation and App Suite.  This package includes the Entune™ Multimedia Bundle:  7-in. high-resolution touch-screen with split-screen display, AM/FM CD player with MP3/WMA playback capability, nine speakers including amplifier, auxiliary audio jack, USB 2.0 port with iPod® connectivity and control, advanced voice recognition, hands-free phone capability, phone book access and music streaming via Bluetooth® wireless technology.

Connecting my IPhone via Bluetooth with the vehicle was a breeze.  Once I was connected, I could enjoy hands-free talking, directions and my ITunes playlist.

Another cool feature of the Toyota Avalone XLE Touring technology package is HD predictive traffic and Doppler weather overlay.  This feature especially came in handy last week as we experienced severe weather in Atlanta.  The system kept me aware of bad weather as it was approaching Atlanta.  This feature was priceless!

SiriusXM All Access Radio with 3-month complimentary trial also comes standard.

Performance

I absolutely got a kick out of driving this car.  The car comes with three driving modes: Normal, Economy, and Sport.  Normal is for everyday driving.  Economy preserves gas and is for long road trips. And Sport is for a more exciting driving experience.  Sport Mode increases throttle response and quickens the Electric Power Steering for livelier handling.  I drove the car in Normal as I was going about my daily routine with the luxe kids.  But I must admit, I drove it in Sport mode when I was alone and had an opportunity to really test the car’s performance in a safe environment.  I love love Sports Mode.  It was literally like driving a sports car while in a sedan. Wowza!

Other performance features include:

3.5-liter V6; 268 hp and 248 lb.-ft. of torque; EPA-estimated 31 mpg highway7 and Ultra Low Emission Vehicle (ULEV) certification.

Exterior

The Toyota Avalone XLE Touring Sedan is one stylish car.  The exterior design is sleek with aerodynamic elements for a smoother ride.  It comes with LED taillights; sun roof; quadrabeam headlights, and chrome rims and grille. Fancy!

Safety

Toyota vehicles have some of the highest safety ratings and the Avalon XLE Touring sedan does not disappoint.  It comes standard with 10 air-bags, back-up camera and blind spot monitor.  Anytime there was an object or person behind me or in one of my blind spots, the car automatically sent out a warning beep.  This is definitely a nice touch and much needed for busy moms on the go.  We can become so distracted with kids and rushing from place to place.

The 2015 Toyota Avalon XLE Touring sedan was an absolute joy to ride.  I really loved the car!  The luxe kids loved it too.  I think I see a luxury sedan in my future.

The 2015 Toyota Avalon XLE Touring retail price starts at $32,285. This car is luxurious and affordable. Love it!

Toodles!
