Luxetips Automobiles! New Ford-150 A Marriage of Comfort, Capability, and Convenience

Hello Divas!

I am thankful for God’s many blessings.  What are you thankful for?

I am slowly but surely getting back to my daily posts. Moving really does throw you for a loop!

Ford Motor Company kicked off the 2014 Atlanta International Auto Show with a pre-view of the new 2015 Ford-150.  Now I know some of you are thinking, what is luxe about a Ford-150?  But Divas you will be pleasantly surprised.  Last year I had an opportunity to test drive a luxe Platinum Edition Ford-150 last year, and it was tough with a bit of luxury.  I loved it!

Some of the new features of the new 2015 Ford-150 include:

  • 60-degree camera system using exterior cameras creates a bird’s-eye view of the truck to help the driver park, maneuver in tight spots, and navigate down narrow roads and trails

  • Ultimateconfigurabilityforcargo–insidethecabandinthe bed – makes new Ford F-150 even more capable

  • Available LED headlamps are a segment first, providing brighter illumination and longer life

  • Exterior_R01

The interior is all important and especially important to me as I am hauling around luxe kids with friends and sports gear.  The cabin is super roomy and can easily fit 3 adults in the rear cabin.  One of my favorite features is the inflatable seat belts that inflate during a collision and protect precious cargo during an accident.

New interior features include a 2.3-inch message center in the instrument panel and a 4.2 -inch audio and climate control screen in the center stack. A cloth 40/20/40 split-bench front seat is standard. Customers can choose between chrome, sport and FX4 off-road packages.

If you have a family and need a nice truck for hauling boat gear, luxe kids, etc, the Ford-150 is a good option.

  1. Does this truck have CarPlay Technology included or can it be added as an extra?

    • Hi Nicole!

Thanks for leaving a comment. Good question! I did ask the folks at Ford and this is their response:

Ford is working to integrate Digital iPod out in the future. We will continue to work with Apple and many other technology companies to develop and continuously improve our in-car connectivity systems for customers. One of the many great things about SYNC is that it is device agnostic and compatible with nearly any mobile operating system, including Apple’s iOS, Google’s Android.

      I hope this was helpful!
