Luxetips Automobiles! Porsche New Macan Cross-Over Utility Vehicle
I saw the most amazing quote on Instagram via Angela Benton: “Your Value doesn’t decrease based on someone’s inability to see your Worth.” Know your worth!
I am a Porsche fan. My favorite Porsche vehicle is the Panamera. It is so luxe, so big, and so fly. #LuxetipsAutomobile
I was not particularly a fan of the Porsche Cayenne SUV, but the new cross-over utility vehicle, the Porsche Macan, is getting rave reviews and Porsche is finding it hard to keep up with customer demand. Not a bad problem to have.
The Porsche Macan has the power of a Porsche 911 but the space and utility of a small SUV. Porsche offers two engine types for the Macan. Customers can select a twin-turbocharged and intercooled DOHC 24-valve 3.0-liter V-6, 340 hp or a twin-turbocharged and intercooled DOHC 24-valve 3.6-liter V-6, 400 hp, 406 kb-ft. It goes from zero to 60 mph in just 4.4-5.0 seconds. That is a lot of power!
The vehicle’s fuel economy is just okay at EPA city/highway driving: 16-18/24-26 mpg.
The Macan comes with Porsche’s Porsche Traction Management (PTM) active all-wheel drive system and it is is equipped with the 7-speed PDK transmission, which changes gear in fractions of a second with no interruption in the flow of power.
Of course the technology package is on point. The Macan comes with Porsche’s Car Connect which allows you to access various vehicle data by smartphone and also to externally control certain functions – at any time and no matter where you are. Notably, the app shows you the location of your Macan, and also where you are. So you can quickly find your way back to your Macan. You can also remotely check the status of doors, windows, hood and luggage compartment.
The interior of the Porsche Macan comes with premium leather and stitching in a variety of colors. The interior is spacious enough to fit 4 large adults and the rear seating area has ample leg room. Bose surround sound system comes standard.
The Porsche Macan starts at $50,000.00.
