Luxetips Events! Candler Park Festival: Good Music, Food and
Life is beautiful! Enjoy it!
This past weekend was so much fun! I attended one of my favorite music festivals, The Candler Park Music and Food Festival. The Candler Park Music and Food Festival is a two-day festival located in the Candler Park neighborhood of Atlanta, GA.
(Plenty of ATMs!)
The one thing I love about this festival is the live music, great food and art vendors.
When I arrived at the festival, the crowd was large and lively. Candler Park is big enough for festival goers to lay blankets and chairs for picnics and there were tables also.
One of my favorite aspects of this year’s event was the free water station sponsored by Fontis. Festival goers could fill up their own containers with as much water as they wanted throughout the day.
Another fab addition to the festival was the Bai sponsored charging station. This station included chairs, fans and chargers for cell phones. Love it!
More importantly, there were plenty of food and drink options for the thousands of people attending the festival. There were libations provided by Terrapin Beer and Atlanta’s own Old Fourth Ward Distillery. In addition, some of Atlanta’s best food trucks provided good eats for the crowd. One of my favorite festival food vendors were in attendance and I had the pleasure of having a jalapeño veggie corn dog. It is simply divine. Yum!
But I must admit my favorite part of the festival was the live music. I was fortunate enough to catch The Marcus King Band do a full set. This band’s sound is a mix of Funk, R&B and Soul. The band’s energy and music was a clear favorite with the festival crowd. They are a must see!
If you missed the festival this year, be sure to check it out next year. It takes place the first weekend in June!
