Luxetips Events: Jeffrey Fashion Cares Celebrates 20 Years With Designer Joseph Altuzarra!
It is that time of year when Atlanta social and fashion elite gather to celebrate fashion for a GREAT cause. Jeffrey Fashion Cares will take place this Monday, August 27, and will feature a fashion show with designs by Joseph Altuzarra (LOVE HIM), pre-show cocktail reception, silent and live auction, and an after party at the famed Opera nightclub. All proceeds from the event will benefit Atlanta AIDS Fund (AAF) and Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Greater Atlanta Affiliate. Last year the event was sold out and raised over $630,000.00. Awesome!
The founder of the event Jeffrey Kalinsky, owner of Jeffrey Atlanta and New York, will join Event Chairs Lila Hertz, Jeffrey McQuithy, and Louise Sams in hosting the event.
This year’s event will be held at a new location, The American Cancer Society Center, in downtown Atlanta. After the festivities, the after-party will be held at Opera Nightclub.
I have attended this event for the past two years and it is a great time. Plus it is for a great cause. A must.

Once again, the party won’t stop following Atlanta’s most fashionable charitable fete. Kicking off immediately following the 20th anniversary event at 9 p.m., this year’s post-show bash themed “Fashion Fair” will be head at Opera in Midtown where a mix of kitsch and glam join forces to provide a night filled with nonstop fun and surprises. General admission tickets for the official after party are on sale for $150 at jeffreyfashioncares.com. Proceeds from the official after party will benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure Greater Atlanta Affiliate and Atlanta AIDS Fund (AAF).
