I am so excited because NYC Fashion Week is around the corner and to kick off this celebration of Fashion, fashionistas can enjoy Fashion’s Night Out on September 6 and the premiere Atlanta Fashion Event, LabelAtlanta. LabelAtlanta takes place Friday, September 7th and will feature the best Atlanta fashion indie designers. It will be hosted by Alex Delotch Davis, head of the City of Atlanta Office of Cultural Affairs, and attendees will enjoy delicious food, spirits and most importantly fashion. Alex Delotch Davis is an officer of the City of Atlanta Office of Cultural Affairs where she is responsible for creating partnerships with corporations and foundations in support of Atlanta’s rich culture and arts programs that serve thousands of citizens and visitors.

Fashion has been a lifelong dream for designer, Cleah Murray and her LABEL, Cleah. At the age of 9, she decided to take one of her mother’s dresses and redesign it for herself. Soon, Cleah began making prom and wedding dresses for her own customers.
Her couture designs have been seen on the Red Carpet at the 2011 and 2012 Grammy celebrations, on RB Grammy winner CriStyle 2011, along with actress CeeCee Michaela of the BET Hit Show “Girl Friends”, former Recording Executive and Pop Star, Perri “Pebbles” Reid; former Atlanta Mayor Shirley Franklin.
Jasmine Elder is an American fashion designer and the creator of the plus size contemporary women’s LABEL, JIBRI. Jasmine grew up in Atlanta and has lived in both NY and London as a student.
Jasmine’s designs are inspired by the glamor of vintage Hollywood cinema, powerful female figures, underground culture, visual art and music. JIBRI is dedicated to creating garments for the fashion conscious curvy woman (size 12-24).
