Luxetips Travel: Carmel By The Sea: Hofsas House Hotel: Magical
We all get lonely. But you are never alone if you have God.
Earlier this week I was able to experience the beauty and magic of Carmel By The Sea, California. Simply Stunning.
Carmel By The Sea is a seaside town sitting on the Pacific Ocean in Northern California. It is about 2 hours south of San Francisco and is minutes from Big Sur and The Redwood Forest. The city has an European feel and is quaint enough that you can walk anywhere in 5-10 minutes. The city has AMAZING art and culture. It has over 80 galleries in a mile radius and has the absolute best in dining, wine, music, and shopping. Love.
I stayed two nights at the Hofsas House Hotel a very charming Bavarian-inspired hotel in Carmel. It is owned and operated by the Theis Family and is within walking distance of Carmel’s stunning white powdery sand beaches and all the best gems that Carmel has to offer.
Cheese from Carmel’s famous The Cheese Shop and Wine greeted me in my room when I arrived. Nice.
The Hofsas House has 38 one of a kind rooms with European comfort and style. My room included a large hearth fireplace, a private balcony to sit and view the sea, and a wet bar. Of course, wi-fi was included.
However, the best selling feature of the hotel is the personalized concierge services. Carrie, the owner of the Hofsas House, personally arranges dinner reservations, wine and food tours, and transportation to area attractions like Big Sur, Monterey and the Red Wood Forest. Carrie and her staff also provide breakfast in the lobby of the Hotel each morning for guests. Every morning I walked to the lobby for fresh coffee, orange juice, fruit and yummy pastries. Guests can sit in the lobby and have breakfast in front of the hotel or take a tray back to your room. Like my friend Christin says, First Class.
