Luxetips Travel! Easter Celebrations at The Del Coronado Resort

Hello Divas!

Worrying is such a waste of time.  It causes wrinkles and puts you in a grumpy mood.  Everything always works out in the end. 🙂

Easter is Sunday, April 8 and me and the luxe kids always do our favorite brunch at a 5 star hotel here in Atlanta.  It is truly fabulous!  But if I was on the left coast, the luxe family’s favorite coast, we would certainly celebrate Easter at The Del Coronado Resort.  Celebrating Easter with the gorgeous Pacific Ocean as a back drop and perfect breezy 80 degree weather?? Priceless.  I like to call the below Easter events at the Del, “Easter in Luxe Style!”
The Del’s Easter Champagne Brunch buffet is available in the oceanfront Ballroom and in the magnificent Crown Room from 9am – 3pm. The elegant buffet will feature classic holiday fare. A special children’s buffet will be available for the little ones. Both the Crown Room and the Ballroom will havelive musical entertainment. Cost is $80 for adults and $34 for children ages 6-10 (not including tax and gratuity). Children 5 and under eat free.
For those looking for a more intimate holiday dining experience, The Del’s oceanview restaurants will offer coastal cuisine and fantastic sunset views. 1500 OCEAN will open early from 4 to 9pm.
EGG HUNTS (For Hotel, Brunch and Sheerwater Breakfast Guests Only)
Easter morning will be kicked off with a good old-fashioned egg hunt! There will be three different hunts on the oceanfront Windsor Lawn from 10am to 10:40am, to include children of all ages. Another round of egg hunts will take place from 12pm to 12:40pm. There is no cost for the egg hunts and baskets are provided. Please register before April 6 at 619-522-8815.
CRAFT ‘EGG’STRAVAGANZA (For Guests and Non-Guests)
The south end of the Windsor Lawn will also be the site for a fun zone with crafts for all ages from 9:30am to 1:30pm. Cost is $5 for brunch and hotel guests and $10 for non-guests. Reservations are not necessary for crafts.
The Easter Bunny himself will be roaming throughout the hotel for photo opportunities.  For more information and reservations visit
