Luxetips Travel! Marriott Hotels’ Meetings Imagined: Business Travel Re-Invented
No matter what you are going through, it always works out in the end. Remain faithful!
Marriott Hotels is re-inventing the business traveler’s experience at their properties. Introducing Meeting Imagined an online platform similar to Pinterest where guests can get ideas for meetings, networking events, and parties at any participating Marriott Hotels.
The Atlanta Marriott Marquis is one of the test hotels and I had the opportunity to view up close the Meetings Imagined concept. Marriott Hotels partnered with four (4) blogger co-hosts, Jaclyn Johnson (Some Notes on Napkins), Justin Livingston (Scout Sixteen), Courtney Dolloff Eliseo (Design Work Life), Tamara Matthews-Stephenson (Nest by Tamara), to help plan two events using Marriott’s Meetings Imagined for an expert crowdfunding company, Kenectit. The first event was an educational seminar on “Tips and Tricks on Crowdfunding Your Business” led by Yolanda Williams, President/CEO at Kenectit and the second was a Networking Event.
I had the pleasure of attending the networking event and it was FABULOUS! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE. The theme was a rustic farm setting with a modern twist. The co-hosts had several “themed stations” throughout the networking space. There was a fresh lemonade bar, liquid nitrogen ice-cream station, bread and cheese station, and my absolute favorite the “rustic salad bar”. There were two bars at the end of the space and guest migrating between the bars and each station networking. Awesome!
Here are a few images from the event:
