Luxetips Travel! Napa Valley Marriott Hotel and Spa: Affordable Luxury
Success is failure turned inside out.
While in Napa, I had the wonderful opportunity to stay at the super luxe Marriott Napa Valley Hotel and Spa.
The Marriott Napa Valley Hotel and Spa just underwent a 15 million dollar renovation and it is so fabulous!
The property features a new luxurious pool area, fire pits and new luxury rooms.
First can we discuss my super gorgeous and comfortable room!
The hotel has all new rooms and bathrooms as a result of the renovation. The rooms feature a decadent pillow top mattress with luxurious lines, gorgeous furniture and state of the art electronics. I stayed in a queen deluxe pool-view patio room with a beautiful view of the property’s new luxe pool area.
The bed was one of the best beds I have ever slept in at a hotel. I slept like a baby in that bed and I miss it! I also loved the sitting area in my room. It was located in front of my patio door and included a beautiful chaise lounge and chair with ottoman. It was my favorite place to sit, relax and people watch after a day of touring Downtown Napa. It was so peaceful.
As discussed, the pool area is simply stunning. Here is a picture I snapped of the pool area and the area looks exactly like this. No kidding. The area features a beautiful pool, pool furniture and landscaped trees. Of course the Napa, CA sun and blue skies provided the perfect backdrop. Gorgeous!
The fire pits located right outside the pool area provide the perfect super luxe and cozy area to chill in the evenings. Napa, CA can get pretty chilly at night and guests would flock to this area with a nice glass of Napa wine and enjoy the warmth of the fire. It is a great place to end a long day touring Downtown Napa and Napa vineyards.
The hotel also houses the restaurant VINelevan. This restaurants serves contemporary American cuisine and guest can either dine indoors or al fresco outdoors. The one thing I love about Napa, CA restaurants is their commitment to provide farm to table meals to visitors and guests. VINelevan sources vegetables from the hotels very own organic garden, the Chef’s Heirloom Gardens, and other local farmers.
One of the hotel’s amenities that is included in the property’s $20 amenity fee is a tour of the Chef’s Heirloom Gardens with a glass of sparkling wine everyday at 4pm. I had the awesome opportunity to tour the garden and it is amazing! The garden features greens like kale, fresh herbs and beautiful flowers. I was simply wowed by the fact the hotel had its own garden. It was a first for me and I love it! The tour is a must do!
Another guest favorite amenity is a daily vintner pour everyday at 5pm in the hotel’s lobby. Everyday at 5pm the lobby is lively with guest drinking exquisite Napa, CA wine. The vintner pour lasts until 6pm.
Of course the hotel has its very own spa and it is super luxurious. The Preserve Spa and Salon is the perfect place to relax and be pampered.
I recommend booking at least one service to enjoy the spa’s zen atmosphere.
The spa offers services from full body massages, body scrubs, pedi/manis and hair care services. It also has a must do eucalyptus steam room that is simply divine. All services require an appointment.
I loved my stay at The Napa Valley Marriott and Spa! It is the perfect retreat for Napa, CA visitors. It is located 10 minutes from beautiful Downtown Napa and is close to the famous Robert Mondavi and Castello Di Amorosa vineyards.
I highly highly recommend this property as an option for Napa, CA visitors. The accommodations are luxe, the atmosphere is relaxing and the staff has the best customer service ever! I never wanted for anything. Love, love, love.
Rates vary and high season is from May to November. However, Cabernet Season, which is from November to April, offers lower rates.
